  • Band-ITS Barre Online Teacher Training

    On completion of this online course, you will have knowledge and repertoire to conduct full-body, barre-based strength classes using safe resistance.

    Get the best of Pilates Reformer and Functional Gym Training all geared specifically for the dancing body. The Barre programme requires a fixed barre to implement in dance studios.

    This programme includes:

    4.5 hours of online content – anatomy, training principles and repertoire.

  • Band-ITS Core Online Teacher Training

    On completion of this course, you will have knowledge and repertoire to conduct safe strength and conditioning classes to your dance students in your studio.

    This programme uses the Band-ITS Lower Limb kit to add external load and focuses on creating mobility, stability and strength for the core, hips and pelvis.

    This programme includes:

    6.5 hours of online content – anatomy, training principles and repertoire.

    A 61-page colour manual to accompany the learning.

    A lower limb Band-ITS kit, Massage and Pilates ball (posted the day you purchase the course).

    2 small exams and certificate of completion.

  • 1-Day face to face 'booster' workshop

    Want to boost your knowledge with in person training?

    This 1 day workshop is available for dance teachers who have completed either the Band-ITS Barre or Band-ITS Core online teacher training. This face to face intensive will refresh your knowledge of the Band-ITS syllabus and class content.

    Be inspired with new class plans, check your cueing and technique, and connect with other Band-ITS teachers/studio owners.

    Presented by Sally and the Strength4Dance team, these workshops are delivered over 1 day (eight hours) in various locations. Upon completion you will get an additional certificate of attendance.

  • Your Body, Your Tool, Your Career - Full Time Dancers' Education Programme

    This 20hr workshop has been designed for full-time dancers and is inclusive of course notes. It can be run over 3 days, or 2 hours weekly for 10 weeks.

    This programme provides dance education workshops covering topics such as flexibility, posture, fitness, nutrition, injury prevention and treatment. This course is designed to prepare the dancer and their body for a safe and long lasting career as a professional.

    This programme has been delivered in Australia to the full-time students at Transit Dance, Melbourne. UDC, Brent Street Performing Arts, Ettinghausens and AMPA, Sydney.

  • Safe Dance Practice & Injury Prevention Sessions - Teachers workshops

    We know that the safety of your dancers is your no.1 priority - which is why we deliver bespoke injury prevention and strength training workshops for teachers.

    The workshops run for approximately 60-90 minutes and are delivered by Strength4Dance creator, Sally Harrison.

    Dance schools in the Sydney Metro area can book today for a face-to-face workshop from the comfort of your own studio. Those outside the city (or state) are welcome to organise a session delivered live online via zoom.

    Sally has presented at teachers conferences for Cecchetti, RAD, BAL, ATOD, ISS and SADF.
